Introduction to The Great Depression

From prosperity during the "roaring twenties" to desperation, poverty, hunger and migration in the 1930's, here's the story of the Great Depression.

The Great Depression, The Dust Bowl and the Great Migration

First the stock market crashed on Black Tuesday (October 29, 1929), then there was a severe drought that caused the Dust Bowl, which in turn caused the Great Migration.  Watch this video to learn more about it.

The Great Depression

This video is pretty funny because it's made for children and the children are actors, but it's actually very clear and informative.  Take a look to learn what the Great Depression was and how it happened!
